NEPSE gains 4.94 points to close at 2,325.45 on Thursday



KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has recorded slight improvement on the last trading day of the week Thursday.

The NEPSE index gained 4.94 points to close at 2,325.45 points today. Likewise, the Sensitive index rose by 2.06 points to close at 443.14 points.

A total of 3,991,051 units of shares of 231 companies changed hands via 36,190 transactions, resulting in a turnover of Rs 1.62 billion today.

On Wednesday, the stock market declined by double digits and went down to 2320.51 points. The index had increased by 13.67 points on Tuesday.

The share price of the two companies rose at circuit-level of 10 percent in the market.

The share price of Jalpa Samudayik Microfinance and Green Venture Limited, which have been creating positive circuit after being listed in NEPSE, also rose 10 percent on Thursday.
