Nepal sees 388 new coronavirus cases, four deaths in past 24 hours

Kathmandu valley witnesses 96 new cases



KATHMANDU: The country recorded a total of 388 new cases of coronavirus and four deaths in the past 24 hours as of Monday. Nepal recorded 262 new coronavirus cases and four deaths on Sunday.

Of the confirmed cases today, 247 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 141 from the antigen method.

Likewise, there are 77 cases in Kathmandu, 8 in Bhaktapur and 11 cases in Lalitpur, taking the Valley’s total to 96 cases.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, four coronavirus-related deaths have been added to the COVID-19 death tally in the past 24 hours. With this, the COVID-19 death toll in the country is 11,925 to date.

Currently, there are 11,282 active cases in the country as 1,205 infected patients recovered.
