Minister Yadav’s threat ‘criminal and barbaric’: UML leader Gyawali



KATHMANDU: CPN-UML leader Pradip Gyawali has said Minister Renu Yadav issued public threat of assassinating Janamat Party leader CK Raut is “criminal and barbaric”.

He added Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba’s silence on such a serious matter is even more ironic.

Addressing a program organized in Rautahat on Thursday, Physical Infrastructure and Transport Minister Yadav had threatened to kill CK Raut.

Expressing his disagreement over the Minister Yadav’s remark, Gyawali tweeted, “It is plainly offensive, criminal and barbaric for a Minister to openly threaten leaders of political parties who have ben protesting peacefully.”

He stressed on halting all activities that encourage crime.
