Election Commission revokes registration of three parties



KATHMANDU: The Election Commission (EC) has revoked the registration of three political parties.

The EC informed that the registration of Nepal Yuva Kisan Party, 33 Parties Front and Nepal Peace Zone Council has been canceled as they did not submit audit reports on time.

The EC imposes fines of up to Rs 20,000 on parties that do not submit audit reports.

The EC had requested these parties to submit the audit report on August 4.
