NC President Deuba registers nomination for PP leader

Prime Minister and Nepali Congress (NC) Sher Bahadur Deuba registered his nomination for the parliamentary party of Nepali Congress.

Likewise, party General Secretary Gagan Thapa also registered his candidacy for the leader of the parliamentary party.

Gagan Thapa to contest with PM Deuba for PP leader  

Nepali Congress (NC) General Secretary Gagan Thapa is filing his candidacy for the post of Parliamentary Party (PP) leader with the support of party leader Dr. Shekhar Koirala.

Oli elected UML PP leader

CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli was elected the parliamentary party (PP) leader of the party unopposed. A PP meeting of the UML held at Nepal Academy this afternoon chose Oli as the PP leader.

Two die of cold

Two persons from Musahar community died of cold in the last two weeks.

Those losing lives to chill are from Pidari of Haripur Municipality-9 in Sarlahi.

Ramesh Majhi,40, from ward no 9 and Ram Bhagat Majhi, 65, from ward no 6 of Haripur Municipality lost the lives due to severe cold, according to the District Police Office.

Narayangadh-Muglin road to remain closed for 4 hours every day

The Narayangadh-Muglin road will be closed for four hours every day from Tuesday.

Kiran Karki, head of the Narayangadh-Muglin road project, said that the road will remain closed due to the construction of bridges in some areas with difficult geographical structure.

Revenue collection fails to meet target

Internal revenue collection has failed to meet the target set for the current fiscal year.

In the first five months of the current fiscal year 2079/080, the revenue collection is 13.63 percent less than the target, according to the Internal Revenue Department.
