Ballot box catches fire in Bajura



BAJURA: A ballot box at Bhagwati Aadharbhut School polling station of Swamikartik Khapar rural municipality 1 of Bajura has caught fire.

The police said that the ballot box for the proportional representation votes for the provincial assembly at the polling station was found on fire.

It is not known how the fire took place.

The police said that the voting process has now stopped after the ballot box was burnt.

528 votes were cast in that polling station with a total of 840 voters.
