Election peaceful: leader Oli



KATHMANDU: CPN (UML) Chairperson and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli assessed the ongoing voting for the elections to the House of Representatives (HoR) and Province Assembly (PA) is taking place peacefully.

The voting kicked off at 7:00am today.

Talking to the media after casting his ballot from the Mahendra Shanti Secondary School-based polling centre at Balkot of Surya Binayak municipality-2 today, the leader said the voting was going on peacefully and he hoped the completion of the elections successfully.

On a different note, he said the nation would get a new leadership under his party very soon. The nation will get a new government by December 1, he added.

“These elections are significant for the nation and I am hopeful that they will take the nation towards a positive direction. I urge the voters who are left to cast the ballot to use the Right to Vote confidently and as per their choice,” the UML Chair said.

Oli is the HoR candidate from the Jhapa constituency-5.
