Election postponed due to official’s mistake in Tulsipur-10



DANG: The voting has been stopped at Patubangaun polling center in Tulsipur-10, Dang due to a polling official’s mistake there.

According to Pushpalata Gharti, polling officer of the said polling station, they happened to issue province assembly ballot papers even for the House of Representatives votes.

“It was fine when the first bundle of 50 ballots was sent. However, while sending another bundle of 100 papers only the only the ballot papers of all the provincial assemblies were went. It came under notice only after 42 people cast their votes,” said Gharti, “I have informed the electoral office about the issue. We will act as the decision comes.”

She said that there is confusion about whether to call the voters who have already voted and start voting again.
