Coalition formed for petty interest will break over time: UML Chair Oli

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli has said that his party need not make effort to break the current five-party alliance as the coalition formed for petty interest breaks over time.

Addressing the Bagmati province-level orientation program organized for its cadres by the UML on Wednesday, Chairman Oli said that breaking the ruling coalition does not need any external effort at all.

“Everyone says, let’s break this alliance. But I say ‘no’, this alliance will break itself. Because this is an alliance made for selfish interests. It will break itself over time,” he said.

UML Chair Oli also said that his party was always open to the unity of the leftist party but the parties have to retain their leftist inclinations to be eligible for such unity.

He reiterated that no party could be a communist party by abiding by the Nepali Congress’s ideologies.

Chairman Oli also urged his party cadres to reform themselves, realize the mistakes of the past election and revitalize their effort for the upcoming federal and provincial elections.
