NEPSE rises by nearly 5 points, with a turnover of Rs 1.73 billion



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) increased by 4.89 points to 2050.59 points on Wednesday.

This is the eighth day in a row when the stock market witnessed a rise.

Today, when the shares of development banks, finance, non-life insurance, manufacturing, microfinance, investment, and mutual fund groups increased, the shares of banking, business, hotel, hydropower, and life insurance groups witnessed a fall.

4,133,000 shares of 215 companies were traded for Rs 1.73 billion today.

Shivam Cement had the highest transactions in terms of shares today. Shivam Cement shares worth Rs 164 million were bought and sold today.
