Outgoing Nepali to get facility of exchanging up to 200 dollars from TIA

KATHMANDU: Nepalese citizens going on foreign tours will be able to get facilities of up to 200 US dollars from Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).

Issuing a notice on Wednesday, Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) said that money changers licensed to sell foreign currency can provide this facility at the (TIA) premises.

There is a provision for those going on a foreign trip to get a maximum facility of 1500 dollars from the bank.

The person who has already taken the facility of 1500 dollars from the bank will not get additional facilities from the money changer at the airport.

Only the people who have taken the facility exchanging worth 1300 dollars or less from the bank will get the facility of up to 200 dollars more from the airport.
