Landslides are common in Nepal during monsoon/File Photo
KATHMANDU: The Yampa-Ambukhaireni road section of Tanahun under the Prithviraj Highway has been obstructed due to a landslide.
The landslide induced because of last night’s rainfall occurred on the road at Bandipur rural municipality-5 Yampa obstructed the road.
Yuvraj Khadka, Deputy Superintendent of Police of the District Police Office, said that the road was blocked in both directions due to the landslide.
He said that work is going on to clear the landslide and make the highway operational.
