NEPSE declines by 49.31 points, drops to 1884 points Monday



KATHMANDU: The downward trend in the stock market continued even on Monday. The market dropped by 49.31 points to 1884.81 points. This is near the highest point of the previous bull, 1881.

The market, which had fallen below that point on Monday, tried to recover but finally fell by 49.31 points.

A total of 61,86,941 shares of 230 companies were traded in 36,464 transactions on Monday. A total of Rs. 1.75 billion has been transacted on this day. Prices of all subgroups declined today.

Even in the declining market, the price of Andhikhola Microfinance has turned positive. Its price has reached Rs 721.90. The value of CYC Nepal Microfinance has increased by 9.98 percent and reached Rs. 500.30. The price of Oriental Hotels rose by Rs. 6 today.

There was a negative circuit in the price of Tehrathum Power Company. Its price has dropped to Rs 422.10. Prices of companies including Kalika Power Company, River Falls Power, and Karnali Development Bank have dropped to the circuit level. Prabhu Bank had the highest turnover on Monday.
