Art of Living celebrating June as “Month of Yoga”

KATHMANDU: Art of Living has been celebrating June as the month of Yoga since 2015 with yoga workshops and mass awareness campaigns.

Art of Living is conducting Yoga sessions for Governmental & non-governmental schools, colleges, army camps, APF, and more this year.

Art of living is also conducting a Yoga Festival in Heritage Sites where people from all walks of life can participate.

This event started on the 13th of June in Basantapur Durbar Square where more than 100 people from various backgrounds joined hands doing yoga.

This chain of events continues at the premises of Mahadevsthan on the same date, Matatiratha on 14 June, Swayambhunath Stupa on 15 June, Bangalamukhi on 18 June, Bouddhanath Stupa on 19 June, and so on.

The beauty of Harmony in our Nepalese culture has inspired people representing Yoga, IT professionals, students, British Gurka trainees, Karate Practitioners, Homemakers, and more to come together for a noble cause.

There are also Special Yoga sessions for Army and APF on 20th June, and 22nd June are scheduled respectively.

Art of Living Nepal yoga teachers will conduct free yoga classes outside of Kathmandu Valley like Pokhara, Chitwan, Lumbini, Butwal, Bhairawa, Dhangadhi, Dang, Biratnagar, Jhapa, and other places.

Art of Living Nepal is focusing on Health and Happiness and the theme for this year’s Yoga Day is “Yoga for Humanity”.
