Three persons die due to storm in Chitwan



KATHMANDU: Three people have lost their lives due to strong winds in Chitwan.

According to the District Police Office, Chitwan, three persons were killed in the storm on Friday evening. The identity of the deceased is yet to be known.

According to police, two persons died on the spot after a tree fell on the auto-rickshaw they were traveling in at Bharatpur-11. Similarly, another person died when a tree fell on another vehicle in Bharatpur-1, police said.

Similarly, two persons were injured after a storm caused a truck to turn turtle near Narayani Bridge this evening.
