RPP unveils manifesto, vows zero-tolerance on corruption



KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has made public its commitment targeting the local elections to be held on May 13.

Party Chairman Rajendra Lingden on Wednesday unveiled a commitment document with the slogan: It’s possible to build a strong, prosperous and new Nepal in our lifetime”.

The party, in its manifesto, has assured making timely reforms by continuing the traditional values.

It has been said that high priority would be given to education, health, physical infrastructure, and zero tolerance towards corruption.

RPP has stated that it will identify the needy families within six months at the local level and do the needful.

Likewise, programs including providing health posts and maternity services in every ward, opening at least one accessible drug store at every local level, and vaccinating adolescents against uterine cancer are included in the commitment document.

RPP has assured to give a monthly allowance of Rs 3,000 to every low-income pregnant woman for three months.

The party has also assured of providing free sanitary pads to female students, and making female toilets compulsory.

RPP has stated that it would provide free education up to 12th grade, and will also open technical schools at all local levels.
