Nepal sees 37 new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours

Kathmandu valley witnesses 12 new cases



KATHMANDU: The country recorded a total of 37 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Sunday.

Of the confirmed cases today, 28 were detected through the RT-PCR method and nine from the antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the country has got relief from coronavirus related death of late. The COVID-19 death toll in the country stands at 11,950 to date.

Similarly, Kathmandu  valley witnessed 12 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. Kathmandu district got 10  new cases and Bhaktapur had two.

Currently, there are 3,241 active cases in the country as 382 infected patients recovered.
