NEPSE index sheds 14.67 points on first trading day of week



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has lost 14.67 points today (Sunday), the first trading day of the week.

The index with today’s loss has come down to 2,616.58 points. Last week, the index had risen by 64.35 points and closed at 2,631.25 points.

Likewise, the Sensitive Index, which measures the trading activity of Class A companies, shed 3.01and stood at 494.38 points today (Sunday).

The total turnover stood at Rs 2.27 billion with 4,287,569 shares of 224 companies changing hands via 35,212 transactions.

All NEPSE sub-indices, except the Investment sub-group, registered losses and closed red today.
