Two buried to death after mound of earth collapses in Butwal



BUTWAL: Two people were buried to death after a mound of earth caved in while they were huddling around a fire on the bank of the Tinau River in Butwal Sub Metropolitan City-11.

Other three people sustained injuries in the incident.

According to Police Inspector Sudarshan Panthi of Ward Police Office, Butwal, the deceased are Ganesh Thapa, 32, and Shiva Thapa, 17, of Pragatinagar.

Keshav Puri, 23, Ashok Gaha, 32, and Salim Ali, 33, have sustained injuries. They are undergoing treatment at Lumbini Provincial Hospital, Butwal.
