Coalition’s victory inevitable to protect Constitution: Prachanda

KATHMANDU: Chairman of the CPN Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” has urged people to vote for the ruling coalition to protect the country’s Constitution.

“In order to protect the constitution and the system, the victory of the five-party alliance in the upcoming elections is inevitable,” Prachanda said on Monday.

Prachanda has appealed to the anti-regressive forces and the people to protect the Constitution and successful implementation.

“The credit of decentralizing the centralized governance system and taking the government to people’s doorsteps goes to the current Constitution,” he added.

He went on to add that the current federal democratic republican was obtained as a result of the long struggle and the sacrifices of the Nepali people.

“The Constitution has not only institutionalized the democratic republic in the country but is also a pioneer in issues such as proportional representation, inclusiveness, fundamental rights, identity and rights,” he said.
