Chair Dahal urges youths to be focused in upcoming elections



KATHMANDU: CPN Maoist Center Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has directed the youth rank and file to be focused in upcoming elections to the House of Representatives and Provincial Assembly.

Addressing the national gathering of Young Communist League (YCL) in Kathmandu on Friday, Chair Dahal asked them to involve in party’s favor of upcoming election being united.

He said, “The election is coming closer. Youths should play significant role in the election.”

Stating that the role played by youths in political struggle was unforgettable, Chair Dahal urged the youths to involve in coming elections as peaceful troop.

The CPN Maoist Center Chair opined that socialist revolution in Maoist leadership would be possible due to youth’s activeness, adding there would be role of youths to conclude socialist revolution along with political success.

He viewed, “None can stop the socialist revolution moving ahead under Maoist leadership.”

“A campaign to unite communists has become failure due to some reasons. We should not be disappointed from this. We should move ahead again from another way to make it success”, argued Chair Dahal. He said the party has the policy of moving ahead in the journey of socialism making communist movement united.

Around 600 representatives have been participating in the gathering began from today.
