Secretary post at OPMCM vacant; three names recommended



KATHMANDU: Three names have been recommended for one vacant post of secretary at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers (OPMCM).

A promotion recommendation committee recommended joint secretaries Ghanshyam Upadhyay, Narayan Sharma Duwadi and Dinesh Ghimire to be promoted as secretary.

The next cabinet meeting is to pick one name among the three recommended for promotion and placement as secretary at the OPMCM.

The post of secretary at OPMCM became vacant following OPMCM Secretary Laxman Aryal’s retirement.

Among those recommended, Upadhyay is the Chief District Officer of Lalitpur, Duwadi is working in the Ministry of Industry, while Ghimire is the Consul General in China.
