Three die in separate accidents in Chitwan



CHITWAN: Three persons died in separate accidents in Chitwan today.

Two people died when a motorcycle collided with a truck in Ichchakamana Rural Municipality-4 Kurintar of Chitwan.

Both the rider and pillion rider were killed when the motorcycle (Ba 88 Pa 5301) they were riding hit a truck (Na Cha Kha 6 B 5913) coming from Kathmandu towards Narayangadh coming from the same direction.

According to District Traffic Police Office, 25-year-old Saroj Rokaya of Dailekh, and 31-year-old Saroj Majhi of Ishworpur Rural Municipality-1, Sarlahi died in an accident at Kurintar along the Prithvi Highway.

Both the injured persons died in Chitwan Medical College while undergoing treatment.

Police have taken the truck driver under control.

Similarly, a pedestrian was killed when a Bolero jeep hit him in East Chitwan.

According to the traffic police office, 71-year-old Khadka Bahadur Ranamagar, a pedestrian, died in an accident at Ratnanagar Municipality-9 Khageri bridge.

The injured died in Chitwan Medical College during treatment.
