KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has wished that Shrikrishna Janmashtami would inspire all Nepalis to build a civilized and cultured society by enhancing mutual harmony, compassion and friendship.
In a message on the occasion of Shrikrishna Janmashtami here today, she has said that the knowledge of Gita inspires the whole world to engage in good needs by renouncing anger, greed and obsession to maintain harmony in society.
She has also expressed her best wishes for happiness, peace, prosperity and good health to all Nepali sisters and brothers living in the country and abroad on the occasion birth anniversary of Lord Krishna.
