Art of living is also conducting a Yoga Festival in Heritage Sites where people from all walks of life can participate freely.

This event started on June 13 in Basantapur Durbar Square where more than 100 people from various backgrounds joined hands doing yoga.

This chain of events continues at the premises of Mahadevsthan on the same date, Matatiratha on June 14, Swayambhunath Stupa on June 15, Bangalamukhi on June 18, Bouddhanath Stupa on June 19, and so on.

The beauty of Harmony in our Nepalese culture has inspired people representing Yoga, IT professionals, students, British Gurkha trainees, Karate practitioners, homemakers, and more to come together for a noble cause.

There are special Yoga sessions scheduled for Army and APF on June 20 and 22 respectively.

Art of Living Nepal yoga teachers are conducting free yoga classes outside of Kathmandu Valley like Pokhara, Chitwan, Lumbini, Butwal, Bhairawa, Dhangadhi,  Dang, Biratnagar, Jhapa, and many other places under the coordination of Art of Living Yoga Coordinator Riya Thapa.

Art of Living Nepal is focusing on Health and Happiness and the theme for this year’s Yoga Day is “Yoga for Humanity”.

The event is followed by Evening Satsang and Patanjali Yoga commentary by humanitarian, spiritual leader, and the founder of Art of Living Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. He himself is conducting online yoga for the whole world.

The main event is happening on June 21 on the occasion of International Yoga Day, at DECC Hall of World Trade Center at 6:30 am, where the entire family of Art of Living Kathmandu is coming together to celebrate Yoga.

The event will be honored by Chief Guest Minister of Youth and Sports Maheswar Jung Gahatraj (Athak).

Art of living is celebrating Yoga Day both online and offline. Yoga is a skill in action. It gives the energy to maximize potential in life so everyone can join on June 21 at DECC Hall of World Trade Center to experience yoga, the union of body, mind, and spirit.
