PM Deuba to furnish response at IRC on his US visit

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister (PM) Sher Bahadur Deuba is scheduled to furnish his response at the International Relations Committee under the House of Representatives concerning his forthcoming US visit today.

The meeting to be held at the Committee at Singha Durbar is expected to discuss Prime Minister Deuba’s visit to the United States.

On Friday, the Committee had summoned Chief of Army Staff Prabhuram Sharma and Foreign Minister Dr. Narayan Khadka to discuss the US State Partnership Program (SPP).

Lately, SPP has been becoming a complex issue. Top leaders of the coalition have been saying that Deuba has assured the SPP that he would not compromise on the issue.
