KATHMANDU: Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) Balen Shah has said that they want to build a stadium and park in Sisdol.

He said this during a meeting with ANFA representatives this morning.

Mayor Balen also stated that he would encourage the formation of local football clubs and local players as most football clubs have a predominance of players from outside.

“We want to run grassroots football programs in collaboration with the concerned clubs to produce players,” said Mayor Balen.

The KMC has been allocating Rs one million annually to the A Division Clubs within the metropolis.
