NC takes lead in Itahari Sub-metropolis



ITAHARI: Nepali Congress (NC) has taken lead in the mayoral race in Itahari Sub Metropolitan City.

As per the latest vote count results, Kopila Ranabhat of NC has got 20,963 votes while Manju Gurung of CPN-UML obtained 20,977 votes.

UML has won the deputy mayor by getting 17,652 votes. CPN (Unified Socialist) from the alliance received only 10,704 votes.
