KATHMANDU: CPN-Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has held discussions with House of Representatives Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota on Saturday.
Prachanda reached the speaker’s residence in Lainchour, Kathmandu, today and held meeting with Sapkota.
Prachanda holds sway over Speaker Sapkota to hinder the United States-backed Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) forwarding for discussion in parliament.
While the Nepali Congress is eager to finalize MCC, Maoist Center is hindering the process of moving ahead MCC using different plots, including use of Speaker Sapkota to postpone HoR meetings.
However, the detail of the discussion between Prachanda and Sapkota has yet to be known.
