Nepal sees 350 new coronavirus cases, four deaths in past 24 hours

Kathmandu valley witnesses 62 new cases



KATHMANDU: The country recorded a total of 350 new cases of coronavirus and four deaths in the past 24 hours as of Saturday. Nepal recorded 437 new coronavirus cases and two deaths on Friday.

Of the confirmed cases today, 198 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 152 from the antigen method.

Likewise, there are 51 cases in Kathmandu, 4 in Bhaktapur and 7 cases in Lalitpur, taking the Valley’s total to 62 cases.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, four coronavirus-related deaths have been added to the COVID-19 death tally in the past 24 hours. With this, the COVID-19 death toll in the country is 11,917 to date.

Currently, there are 13,357 active cases in the country as 1,272 infected patients recovered.
