KATHMANDU: With Kushal Bhurtel’s outstanding batting, Nepal has set a target of 219 to the Philippines in the ICC T20 World Cup qualifier played in Oman on Saturday.
Opener Bhurtel performed his best with his first international century in the match.
He scored 104 runs in the match. He had completed his half century in 32 balls. This is Bhurtel’s fifth half-century in the International Twenty20.
Nepal, which batted after losing the toss, lost three wickets.
Dipendre Singh Airee scored 83 in 47 deliveries to help Nepal give an uphill target to the opponent.
