Nepal Police and APF vying for PM Cup title today

KATHMANDU: Nepal Police Club and Armed Police Force (APF) are locking horns in the final of the Prime Minister’s Cup Twenty20 national cricket tournament today.

In the semi-final match held on Tuesday, APF defeated Tribhuvan Army Club by 47 runs to enter the final. Similarly, Nepal Police Club routed Bagmati Pradesh by 50 runs to inch closer to the title of the tournament.

The final of the Prime Minister Cup, which had started from January 10, is beginning at TU Cricket Ground, Kirtipur at 10 am.

The winner will get Rs 500,000 and the first runner-up will receive Rs 300,000 as cash prizes. Similarly, the man of the match will be awarded with a cash prize of Rs 30,000.
