No new coronavirus cases recorded in past 24 hours, active cases 14



KATHMANDU: Hinting at the decline of cases of coronavirus in Nepal lately, the country recorded no new case of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Sunday.

The country recorded no coronavirus cases on Friday and one case on Saturday.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 199 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

All 199 cases were tested through the RT-PCR method.

Currently, there are 11 active cases in the country as two infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus-related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll stands at 12,019 to date.
