President Bhandari calls upon parties to recommend PM by December 25



KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has called upon the parties to recommend a name for the Prime Minister within 7 days from Sunday.

According to a source in the  President’s Office, Sheetal Niwas, the President called for the name of the Prime Minister to be recommended as per Article 76 (2) of the Constitution.

After the Election Commission gave the final result of the House of Representatives election, President Bhandari has called on the parties for the government formation.

As per the President’s notice, the political parties have to recommend the name of Prime Minister by 5 pm, December 25.
