Maoist Center holding office bearers’ meeting today

KATHMANDU: The Maoist Center is holding a meeting of its office bearers today afternoon.

The meeting to be held at the central party office in Parisdanda is likely to discuss issues such as the November 20 general election, initiatives to form a new government, and the current political scenario, among others.

It should be noted that Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda has insisted that he should be the Prime Minister.

On Saturday, Prachanda asked Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba to support him in becoming the Prime Minister.

Deuba, however, said he would discuss the issue only after the NC parliament party leader is elected.
