Technical hitches disrupt NA’s domestic flights



KATHMANDU: Technical hitches in a twin otter disrupted the domestic flights of Nepal Airlines on Friday.

The twin otter flown to Bhojpur from Kathmandu had to be returned midway due to technical problem, according to Spokesperson at Nepal Airlines Corporation, Archana Khadka.

There were 15 passengers onboard.

It is the only plane used for domestic flight.

With the problems in it, all domestic flights were cancelled.

Even the flights for Saturday are cancelled.

The airfare paid by the passengers would be returned with the cancellation of flights.

Although the NAC has three twin otters, one is in no condition to repair while another is being repaired for long.
