KATHMANDU: The monsoon is likely to be active from tomorrow.

Meteorologist at Weather Forecasting Division, Hira Bhattarai, said that the monsoon is likely to be active from Monday.

The Division has estimated light to moderate rain in a few places in the hilly areas and one or two places in the rest of the area on Monday afternoon.

Likewise, the monsoon is expected to become active and rain may occur in different parts of the country.

Mets have forecast rainfall on Tuesday at some places, especially in Sudurpaschim, Karnali, Lumbini and Gandaki and a few places in the rest of the state.

On Tuesday night, heavy rain is also likely to occur at Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and one or two places in Far West.

Likewise, there is a possibility of rain in many parts of the country’s hilly areas and some places in other parts of the country on Wednesday.

The Division has forecast heavy rain in some places of Sudurpaschim, Karnali, Lumbini and Gandaki.
