Nepal sees 14 new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 14 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Saturday.

Out of the confirmed cases, 11 were detected through the RT-PCR method and three through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 2,534 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours. Of them, 1,590 samples were tested through RT-PCR and 944 through the Antigen method.

Currently, there are 104 active cases in the country as 11 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No person died due to coronavirus in the past 24 hours. The COVID-19 death toll in the country stands at 11,952 to date.
