Rastriya Janamorcha elected in two local levels in Baglung



KATHMANDU: Rastriya Janamorcha has won election in two local levels of Baglung district.

Nar Bahadur Pun, a common candidate from the alliance, has been elected Mayor of Jaimini Municipality in the district. He secured 8,755 votes while his closest rival, Leela Rana of the CPN (UML) received 2,873 votes.

Similarly, Krishna Prasad Sharma has got victory in the post of Chairperson of Bareng Rural Municipality by getting 3,601 votes. His closest competitor, Pradeep Thapa of the CPN (UML) received 2,232 votes.

The final result of eight local levels in the district has been announced. Of them, NC won election in four local-levels, Rastriya Janamorcha in two, and CPN (Maoist Centre) and CPN (UML) in one local level each.
