T20 league to be held from Sept 24



KATHMANDU: Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has officially announced the Nepal T20 league.

The official T20 league of Nepal was announced by organizing a program at a hotel in the federal capital on Wednesday.

Six teams will compete in the Nepal T20 league which will be held from September 24 to October 22. The game will be played at the TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.

CAN President Chatur Bahadur Chand in a press release said that he was happy to announce the official T20 league of Nepal.
The first edition of the League will run from September 24 to October 22. He said that everything including the team will be announced in the next 15 days.

Similarly, Acting Secretary of the CAN Prashant Bikram Malla described it as a historic day of the Nepali cricket.

Malla said that he was willing to join the franchise league since the new leadership of Chatur Bahadur Chand in 2076 BS. However, it was delayed due to the epidemic.
