UML wins chair in Kanchanpur’s Dodhara Chandani



KATHMANDU: CPN-UML candidate Kishor Limbu has been elected as the mayor of Dodhara Chandani municipality in Kanchanpur.

Limbu defeated Nepali Congress (NC) candidate Gopal Dutta Bhatt with a margin of 933 votes in today’s counting of votes.
Limbu got 7,104 votes while his nearest rival Bhatta received 6,171 votes.

Similarly, Niru Devi Kami, the mayoral candidate from the CPN (Maoist Center), got 776 votes, according to the Office of the Returning Officer.

Similarly, NC candidate Ganga Devi Joshi has been elected as the deputy mayor. She was elected with 6,365 votes. UML candidate Khima Chand has polled 5,822 votes.
