Bharatpur Metropolis: Maoist Center’s Renu widens lead

CHITWAN: CPN (Maoist Center) candidate Renu Dahal, who is contesting for the post of mayor of Bharatpur Metropolitan City from the alliance, has widened a lead with 1,684 votes.

After counting 27,267 votes, Dahal got 9,924 votes while CPN-UML’s Bijay Subedi got 8,240 votes. Nepali Congress (NC) rebel candidate Jagannath Poudel has got 4,488 votes.
