NC wins in Rupandehi’s Kanchan rural municipality



RUPANDEHI:  Nepali Congress (NC) candidate has won for the post of chairman of Kanchan rural municipality.

NC’s Nawaraj Dhakal has won the election by getting 9,085 votes. His closest rival of CPN-UML Dinanath Acharya received 7,845 votes.

Similarly, Mausami Thapa Magar of the Nepali Congress has also won the post of deputy mayor with 9,194 votes.

Her contender of CPN-UML Omkali Rahadi polled 7,699 votes.
