People’s representatives return government vehicles



DAMAULI: People’s representatives of Tanahun district have started returning government vehicles, they are using.

They started returning the vehicles in view of the local-level election scheduled for May 13.

Mayor of Shuklagandaki municipality, Kisan Gurung, Spokesperson Khim Bahadur Kumal and chairperson of Bhimad municipality-9, Iman Bahadur Thapa, returned the vehicles on Sunday. Gurung and Thapa both are preparing to compete again in the local-level election.

Mayor Gurung on Sunday returned the key of the vehicle (Ga 1 Jha 321), he was using.

He handed over the key to the Chief Administrative Officer Leela Ballav Neupane. Gurung said that though he had wanted to return the vehicle soon after the implementation of election code of conduct, it was late due to official task.

Similarly, Chairperson Thapa had returned the motorcycle (Ga 1 Ba 1069), he was using, to Chief Administrative Officer, Teknath Dahal, while Spokesperson Kumal also returned the motorcycle (Ga 1 Ba 746).
