Two Holi revelers killed in motorcycle accident



MORANG: Two persons were killed in a motorcycle accident in Morang district on Friday.

Both the deceased- the motorcycle rider and the pillion rider- were Holi revelers and riding a motorcycle (Ko 25 Pa 8559) under the influence of alcohol when the accident took place, said Spokesperson at the Morang District Police Office, Manjil Mukarung.

They have been identified as Alok Bishwas, 16, of Katahari Rural Municipality-5 in Morang district and Rishav Chaudhary, 18, of Gramthan Rural Municipality-1. They died at Birat Teaching Hospital, said Mukarung.

Similarly, the district police booked 413 vehicles for drunk-driving. Likewise, the police arrested seven people for disturbing people under the influence of alcohol.
