Two killed in separate Rupandehi road accidents



KATHMANDU: Two people have died and two others sustained injuries in separate road accidents in Rupandehi.

Province Traffic Police Office, Butwal has informed that Shanti Bhandari, 34, of Nawalparasi Sunwal-4, died after a tripper, Lu 2 Kha 3573, collided with a motorcycle. Her husband, and three-year-old son were injured in the incident, police said.

Both the injured are receiving treatment at Devdaha Medical college.

Similarly, 23-year-old Jit Bahadur Thapa of Tilottama municipality-15 has died after he fell off a motorcycle at Patthardanda on Thursday night.

The motorcyclist has been at large. The registration number of the motorcycle involved in the accident is also yet to be disclosed.

Police said they are searching for the motorcycle and its rider.
