Newcomer Shahi nominated RPP central member and spokesperson

KATHMANDU: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chairman Rajendra Lingden has nominated new entrant Gyanendra Shahi as party’s central member and spokesperson. With Shahi, the number of spokespersons in RPP has reached five.

Coordinator of ‘Our Nepal, We Nepalis’ campaign, Shahi entered the RPP on Friday only.

At a program held for new RPP entrants, RPP Chairman Lingden announced that Shahi has been nominated as the party’s central member and spokesperson, adding, that the party would form a good governance department and make Shahi its head.

Stating that everyone in Shahi’s campaign would be given responsibility in the party, Chair Lingden advised changing working style to new entrants, including Shahi, citing limits to being leaders and activists. “However, the campaign for good governance should get stronger than ever,” he added.

RPP had already nominated Bhakti Prasad Sitaula, Mohan Shrestha, Sagun Sundar Lawati and Gopal Dahal as spokespersons. The party has three more co-spokespersons.
