MUSCAT: Nepal is taking on host Oman in a cricket tournament under the ICC Twenty20 World Cup qualifiers today.
The match between Nepal and Oman will be held at Al Amerat Cricket Stadium. This is going to be the first match of the World Cup qualifiers.
Nepal is placed in group ‘B’. Other teams in the group include Oman, Canada and Philippines. Similarly, in group ‘C’ are Ireland, UAE, Bahrain and Germany.
Top two teams of the tournament will be selected for ICC T20 World Cup to be held in Australia in October-November of this year.
