Two held for murdering their farther



KATHMANDU: Two individuals have been arrested on the charge murdering their own father at Pandechhap in Kirtipur.

The arrested have been identified as 45-year-old Shankar Maharjan, and Krishna Maharjan, 40, the second eldest and the youngest sons of the deceased, respectively.

According to Metropolitan Police Circle, Kirtipur, Shankar and Krishna took the life of their father by pounding him with a pressure cooker and a pestle on Thursday evening.

Police said they are investigating the case after forwarding a murder case against the assailants.
