25 staffs including three judges test COVID-19 positive Janakpur High Court

BIRGUNJ: Twenty-five people, including three judges, a registrar and other staff working in the Birgunj bench of the Janakpur High Court, have contracted coronavirus.

According to Registrar Gajendra Bahadur Singh, 25 including Judges Sitaram Mandal, Sadhuram Sapkota, Lekhnath Poudel and Singh himself have tested coronavirus positive.

He  informed that the Court’s service has been affected due to the spiking cases of coronavirus.

“We are compelled to cut many services,” he said, “Arrangements have been made to look into issues like detention, petitions and other most essential services only.”
